MA-FU

Our primary goal was economy when developing the isolating frequency/voltage converter MA-FU. The 5B standard compatible module can be universally applied and up to 10 standard F/U converter can be replaced, thus making for easy inventory control for the dealer as well as the end user.

With this module you can measure frequencies. In addition, an unregulated ±12V supply voltage, but without overload protection, for the supply of active sensors is provided. As reference for the ±EX voltages, an additional 0EX pin was defined, which can be removed if necessary.

For the industrial application the electrical isolation of the signal is of major importance. The configuration of the measuring ranges and the filter cut-off frequencies are effected via DIP switches located at the front. The zero mark (Offset) and the amplification (Gain) can be adjusted by means of potentiometers.
