MAL-U2I

Analog signal processing is an aspect often ignored in measurement technology. Here a reasonable solution is introduced by the miniature amplifiers and converters of the MAL series. The MAL-U2I converts voltages into a proportional current signal.

The module provides 2 input ranges and is calibrated ex works in the 10V measuring range. The output filter features a 10Hz cut-off frequency.

Regarding size and pin assigment the MAL-U2I module is compatible to the product of other manufacturers and provides a current signal at the output proportional to the input. Measuring range and offset have been adjusted ex works.

In type of construction like a 24-pole IC, the measuring amplifier can be plugged onto a carrier board.

The module comprises the following functional groups:

• input differential amplifier
• U to I converter
• output unit with filter

For the amplification or conversion of other physical quantities or for the electrical isolation of signals further miniature measuring amplifiers are available, which can be used in any combination.
