We will be happy to provide you with the relevant signed declarations and certificates by email on request.
Environment & Sustainability
PPWR (EU Packaging Directive)
The EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR) sets out requirements regarding the sustainability, recyclability and labelling of packaging. Our packaging fully complies with the applicable provisions of the PPWR – from the choice of materials to correct labelling throughout the entire supply chain.
POP (persistent organic pollutants)
The POPs Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 restricts the use of persistent organic pollutants in products. We ensure that our products fully comply with the applicable limit values and prohibitions set out in the Regulation, and we review this compliance on a regular basis.
RoHS
Our electrical and electronic products comply with the requirements of the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) on the restriction of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium and certain flame retardants - tested throughout the entire supply chain.
WEEE
As a manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment, we fully comply with the requirements of the EU WEEE Directive on the take-back and environmentally sound disposal of waste equipment, and we actively support the circular economy in our sector.
ElektroG
We fully comply with our obligations under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), including the registration, labelling, take-back and proper recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
EAR (Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register)
We are duly registered with the Elektro-Altgeräte Register (EAR) Foundation and thus fully and continuously comply with the statutory reporting obligations for manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment in Germany. BMC Messsysteme GmbH is registered as a B2B manufacturer under WEEE registration number DE75472248.
| All our electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU market is marked with the ‘double-crossed-out wheelie bin’ symbol, as it must not be disposed of with household waste. |
