Solutions

To be able to connect a pressure sensor to a measuring system, the signal needs to be adjusted with a measuring amplifier. BMC Messsysteme GmbH offers perfect solutions with a wide range of measuring amplifiers, such as the MAL- respectively MA-series. The amplifiers deliver an output signal of +/- 5 volt, which  matches the measuring systems of BMC Messsysteme GmbH in the best way possible.

Signal Condition

Pressures can be measured in gaseous and liquid media as well as a force transporting component on solid objects. Pressure is usually a slow changing signal. It is a standard procedure to measure atmospheric pressure and air pressure. Another important measured signal is hydraulic pressure.

Sensors

Pressure sensors react very delicately on overstressing. When the measuring range has been exceeded, the sensor can easily be damaged beyond repair, depending on the used technology. To cover the diverse requirements of the different applications in the best way possible, there are various kinds of sensors available. All sensor principles define the pressure indirect via the deformation of an elastic element. In the sector of pressure technology there are variations of inductive, capacitive, strain gauge and piezo-resistive pressure sensors.
